Our half day Fire Awareness course will equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement the organisations Fire Safety policy and ensure their safety, ensuring compliance with the latest UK fire safety legislation and guidance.

Our Director Steve visited Dumfries Royal Infirmary at the start of January, as part of his CPD and learning around Medical Gas installations and systems. Steve found the trip very informative and was expertly hosted by Colin McKie from NHS Scotland. The visit has provided us with the opportunity to update course content for our Award in Management of Medical Gas Supply: Designated Clinical Officer (EduQual Level 7).

“Ensuring fire safety in all healthcare premises is of the utmost importance. Following the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower and the subsequent independent review of building regulations and fire safety, chaired by Dame Judith Hackitt, Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) 05-03 part K ‘guidance on fire risk assessments in complex healthcare premises’ has been revised with some extensive changes. This article sets out to address the role of an HTM, the risks specific to complex healthcare premises, what’s new in the revised HTM 05-03 Part K, and how this applies in practice”.
We have been working closely with Mazin along with Healthcare Skills International and EduQual in developing the new full suite of Fire Safety qualifications specifically for complex healthcare premises and hope to launch these in the very near future.
We are pleased to announce that we have been joined by 4 amazing MGPS Authorised Engineering professionals on the Level 7 EduQual Diploma in Medical Gas Pipeline Systems.
